Good grass starts with the ground under it.
Hydroseed grows best on ground that is loose, level and free of rocks, roots and construction debris. Prep is the step that decides how even the lawn comes in.
Before we spray, we walk the site, pick up debris, loosen packed spots, rake out ruts and level the surface so water does not pool or run off. On bigger jobs we do the prep on one visit and spray on the next.
If the ground needs heavy grading, we coordinate with a local grading crew, then prep and spray once the grade is set.

Do I need prep before hydroseeding?
Almost always. Even a quick rake-out and debris pick-up helps the seed land on good soil and come in evenly.
Do you do grading?
We handle the prep for seeding. For heavy grading we work with a local grading crew, then prep and spray once the grade is set.
